As Kane Williamson was not a part of the first two ODIs. And No Trent Boult. No Lockie Ferguson. No Matt Henry. Team India whitewash in ODIs but Gain Rahul, a long-term fix at no.5

Team India suffers first whitewash in ODIs after 31 years but for Team Idia positives part is KL Rahul Playing at no.5. And showing good hitting at the end of the inning even when India loses early wickets. He played sensibly and kept on making runs. His score in 3 ODIs is 88*,4,112. This is a major point because after Dhoni no one is been capable to fill his spot. But KL Rahul has shown he can be the best asset if it’s about wicket keeping and playing in the middle order for Team India. Another thing is even Shreyas Iyer has played well in all three ODIs his score is 103,52,62. Virat Kohli hasn’t got many runs in this ODI series but KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer have shown good performances in the middle order.

But for Team India this also the first time when Jasprit Bumrah got wicketless in ODI series. Bumrah coming after the injury hasn’t impressed with the ball. In all three matches in ODI Bumrah hasn’t got even a single wicket.

So first Team India whitewash New Zealand in T20 series and Now Team New Zealand whitewash Team India in ODI series. Now it’ll be interesting to watch which team is going to show top-class performance in the two-matches test series. Good news for Team New Zealand is Trent Bolt and Ferguson have been seen in action and practicing in nets for the first test series. which begins with the first game at the Basin Reserve from February 21.
