It is part of a wider trend of the sport being promoted to girls as a way of making it easier for them to compete in the sport.
The BBC said in a statement that it was pleased to support the initiative.
“We know that there is still much more to be done in the UK and around the world in promoting women’s cricket,” said a BBC spokesperson.
“As part of our commitment to promoting sport for all, we are proud to be supporting a programme for young girls, who have traditionally been more likely to want to learn about the game.”
The show is part, of course, of a campaign aimed at encouraging girls to play sport.
