Cricket World Cup 2015 – India Beats South Africa By 130 Runs : Team India’s win over South Africa showed just why India still considered as one of the hot favorites in the Cricket World Cup 2015 even after they had spent more than 2 months in Australia without a win. Moreover This was India’s first win over South Africa in a Cricket World Cup match. India lost to South Africa in prior 3 Cricket World Cup Matches.

After Rohit Sharma’s dismissal , Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli began in slow pace, made sure team India had a commendable platform before they began to hit shots. Shikhar Dhawan who is in good form went on to score his first century in three months spent in Australia.Before the match Virat Kohli had spoken about sustained momentum and also not relying just on the final 10 to 15 overs.

Finally , In the last few overs, South Africa somehow managed to pull India back a little. Only 80 runs came off the last 10 overs, but India had 307 total on the board. Team India executed both the plans very well against it’s tough compitator South Africa and India won the match by 130 run.
